Concordia College: Founded in 1922, is the only Black Lutheran College in America. The school offers Christian values for students. Majors offered in Business Managment, Early Childhood Development, Pre-Seminary, and additional Liberal Arts programs
Selma University offers areas of study in Pastoral Ministry, Business, Physical Education and Christian Education. Founded in 1878 by Dr. William H. McAlpine, the grandfather of Mrs. Eunice Johnson of Ebony Magazine.
