NEW YORK, NY – August 5, 2010 – Rapper Etcetera expands his career as he signs a booking agreement with Los Angeles based Premiere Booking Agency. This signing is the first of several upcoming opportunities for the New York based rapper. He is extremely excited to be added to the new roster of Premiere Booking Agency artists like Lil Kim, DeBarge, Joonie, and Andrew DeBarge. For the past three years, Etcetera has released songs such as “Dance Like That”, “Take U There”, “O.M.G. Throw Ya Handz Up”, and “Higher” featuring and produced by Platinum Producer Kwame’.
Etcetera hit the ground running in 2000 with a string of underground hits, placing him as one of the top underground chart toppers, as well as establishing himself as a song writer, not only for his personal projects but for other artist as well. In 2004, his hip-hop rock release “OH NO” landed him the substantial credibility to become a member of the National Recording Academy and placed him in a three category ballot running for a 47th Annual Grammy Award. His 2008 singles “Take U There” and “Dance Like That” catapulted him into the mainstream pop/urban culture.
July 8th, marked the release date for the long awaited Mix CD, “Characters Welcome” hosted by Power 105.1 premiere personality DJ Chuck Dogg out of New York City. Less than three weeks after the release date, the mix CD has already received 6,000 downloads and is growing rapidly. The mix CD spotlights remixed songs like “Back Up” by Beyonce, “Battle Cry” by Shontelle, and unforgettable anthems like “According To You” and “Renegade”.
