This fall im gonna be a visual arts major. I want to get into graphic design and all that. I like graphic design and i'm good at it and i think my classes will be really easy but i love music even more. i've been thinkin about switching my major to music business. i'm kinda confused cuz i would like to do both but i don't wanna take on the extra work involved with a double major. Something in my heart is telling me to go with music business and i probably will. Who knows. i don't even know how to go about switching my major. i guess i need to figure it out soon.

coming from a person who has not only switched majors but schools a lot...all i can say is follow your heart...whatever makes you happiest is usually the best route...take some time to weigh out your options before coming to a conclusion...GOOD LUCK!

Dawg I was in the same predicament you in. I was in Music Business though but i decided to switch because i wanted to go into web page/graphic design/3d art. The problem was all my life i said i wanted to be a music producer so it was very hard for me to sign on the dotted line that i was changing my major. But in the end i was happy. Because i was taking ten classes my first semester with music business. But now i get to take some of the stress away by only having to take half the classes. But the decision is really going to have to come from you, it took me about 4 weeks to make my decision and i was really cut down the middle, but im glad i changed it.

Sweetie do what you have a passion for. I was origianally a biology pre med major, I'm now a dance major. Trust me it will be well worth it in the long run. Try to think about what you want to do and not what other people think you should do.
