Should African Americans be proud about roots in Africa ? (1743 hits)

America has become a melting pot of immigrants from countries all over the planet. Immigrants from China, Russia, Greece, Italy, Israel, France, and Taiwan are only a few that have come to America. They make money according the American dream and then send money back to their native country. So proud they are of their homeland.

Though African Americans came to America under differant circumstances, we, too should be proud of our homeland. Africa, the birthplace of civilization, has suffered the abuse of nations. Yet, the continent is our native home and should be respected by her loss seed in America and nurtured back to her once greatness. So Yes, African Americans should respect Africa.
