In metropolitan cities across America, if you look near every 4 or 5 blocks in the black neighborhood, there is a black church. African American business are boarded up unless a beauty salon or liquor store. But the Black churches seem to be doing all right. So preachers seem to be accommodating failure but not helping ambition. Just pass the basket and don't worry much about the here and now.....it is the next life that you will receive yours.
Then, there is the funeral homes that are getting more lush in the black neighborhoods. So black lives are miserable but don't worry, death awaits with pleasure. ....My thoughts.....in between the church and the funeral home is education and the thrill of purpose. That is, living your life to fulfill a purpose, a need that when accomplished, it makes a differance on earth.
