Graduates of 2006!!!

Jaida Moore · Friday, July 29th 2005 at 11:01AM · 293 views
Well the time is here. Many of us are going into are final year at an HBCU (CONGRATS) and I don't know about y'all but I am very excited. The question is... How many graduates know what they are going to do once they have finished? Are you going to grad school, do you already have a job lined up, or are you going to take awhile to breath? In this day and age let's not be educated African Americans and unemployed or not working to our full potential. Make something of your life and try to make a someone younger than you understand that they can make something of theirs too.

Well Jaida, u are very right!!! Personally, i have majored in Criminal Justice and Paralegal Studies and dont want to do any work in that field. I love my classes in my majors because the teachers are very interesting and seem to care, but becoming an FBI agent or Police officer isnt my forte' anymore. I've been exploring different career opportunities and talkin to my mother who never went to college but knows that she wants me to succeed and go on to Graduate or Law School because she works for the government and she sees that a degree can take you very far within the DC Government. So ive decided to take the LSAT this December to see how ill do and also take the GMAT. I would like to go on to Law school and enter a joint program in Law and Business Admin concentrating in CIS perhaps so i can have the best of both worlds and make lots of money.
