Yeah people may tell you that your boyfriend is holding you back but if that is what is making you happy you be with him. But if you think that him not going to school is going to have an affect on you just let him know that you two need to be friends. I am in the same situation except my boyfriend has a job and i understand that it is hard, but all i can tell you to do is follow your heart!! much luv ~swanny~
I understand where u are coming from but my first question is: have u sat down and told ur boyfriend that u have a problem with some of the things he is doing? Have u given him an opportunity to allow him to change into a better man...or are u just thinking of this stuff and he doesn't know how u feel....Secondly: If u have approached him bout ur concerns, how did u approach him.....did u come at him like he is a man or did u approach him in a way that hurt his pride....if he knows exactly how u feel and he still isn't changing...let him go...Just don't let ur main motive be.....break up with him so I can talk to ol' dude.....break up with him cuz U know u deserve better....i wouldn't jump right back into another relationship...but give ya'll some time to build up something...u been with ol' dude for 2 years...there must have been something there....but don't settle for less...

I am somewhat is a similar situation. I would stay with who you are with. The friend is just that. Trust me, alot of times, friends that turn into lovers, turn right back into friends or worst, enimies. If you don't truly "love" the guy ( which you probably don't since you're doubting the relationship) then end it on a nuetral note before it ends in unfaithfullness. Cheating is not the key and prolonging someones life, leading them nowhere is not either. Do what you think is right, pray on it, and good luck
