Nintendo DSi Launch Party in LA This Saturday Nintendo of America's kicking off the launch of the Nintendo DSi in a big way: on Saturday, April 4th, Nintendo will be hosting a midnight launch party at Universal CityWalk in Los Angeles, CA.
Starting at 9pm, you'll be able to line up at the GameStop at Universal CityWalk (100 Universal City Plaza, Los Angeles, CA) to snag your own system when the clock strikes 12. Nintendo will keep attendees amused and occupied with giveaways from art group I Am 8-bit, parkour stunt demonstrations, interactive gaming stations...all set to a soundtrack provided by VJ Fader.
The DSi, Nintendo's upgraded handheld featuring cameras, internal memory, and an SD card slot, officially launches April 5th in the US.
