I Miss You (a poem)
Children playing, birds singing sweet spring songs, trees moving as the slight breeze trickled throughthem and on days like this I used to lay in your arms... I miss you... This was the person I wish I could see when i wake up in the morning and the last person I kiss before I hit my Pillow at night... I miss you... I love the person you used to be, I can still feel you holding me, kissing me, telling me that you love me, whispering between ten second trips to paradise that I was, am, and will always be your one and only I miss you so much it hurts whaen I was in your arms i felt like I could finally breathe... Street lights are coming on and the world is under the sandman's thumb, we kiss long into the night past the bedtimes of partygoers 3 time zones away... I miss you...something about you intrigued me enough to give you my heart and call you when I knew you were wrong but it may all have been in vain because now I'm missin' you
