Class of 2008 and what a year to graduate; “Fly Class of 08’; fly Class of 08 in pursuit of your purpose,” recites Terrick Brown, Keynote Speaker for Booker T. Washington 08’ Graduation ceremony. Terrick Brown is not only my cousin but Terrick is also a former debate student of TSU who worked with Denzel Washington young cast in the production of The Great Debate. A few years ago; Terrick spoke at the nation’s Capitol in honor of Dr. King’s birthday. Jazz, a soon to be soldier for the United States Army is a BTW 08’graduate.

The nation, today, is also in ‘The Class of 08’ when 21st century Americans graduated “from past ideals to imminent progressive ideals that reflects the nation’s melting pot diverse population. This past election was a collective movement for time to change in 2009. Henceforth; voters answered the call of duty set in motion to completion. The motion was the vote; November 4th was the day of completion. A call of duty doesn’t rest until it is in motion to completion. Many voters expressed the anxiousness of casting their vote. “It was like a burden had been lifted off of me” said Ebony. Now, Jazz, in the class of 2008, and home of the BTW Eagles is in motion to embark upon her purpose. Since high school, enlisting in the Arm Forces is what Jazz wanted to pursue. Thusly; I’m in awe of her courage that America in battle didn’t deter her decision to join the military.

The Class of 08’ Call of Duty is a :04 minute trailer that features segments of Terrick Brown’s ‘Call to Purpose’ message; and Jazz, endowed in eagle boldness a future U.S. soldier; 2008 voters for change is in the Class of 08’when American voters answered to the call of duty and ushered in a change nation. The call of duty is in motion and war is profanely real! Hardcore; it’s not a kumbaya? ‘let’s praise the Lord’ activity. Jazz, obviously is like JAY-Z “fears no man” to want to join the army in the time of war. Therefore; a jazzy JAY-Z tune from The Black Album ‘truce’ it up for Jazz as her family celebrates her graduation and proudly supports her decision to become a United States soldier. Purpose is the overall theme. Purpose, apparently, an inwardly tug that passionately resounds individuals for the call of duty to pursue purpose. Much love for Jazz and the American troops for responding to the call of duty to serve the nation.
