My Summer Internship At D.V.I.C!!!

I finally made it into the social work program at Tuskegee University and start my internship. My internship is in Opelika Alabama at the Domestic Violence Intervention Center(D.V.I.C). I wanted to do my intenship there besically I want to be an advocate for battered women and children. I feel that domestic violence isn't talked about enough and it should be because many women become battered every four seconds. My internship is cool because I get to interact with the women and children and develop a tight bond. I just feel that women, children and men shouldn't go through the agognizing pain of abuse.
