Job Description
Brand Promotion and Marketing Manager

The Brand Promotion and Marketing Manager will lead all aspects of the New York City marketing department consisting of employees with expertise in: Design and Interactive Marketing.

This position sits at the inspiring nexus of brand sales and marketing.

Responsible for achieving brand marketing goals and managing design and interactive responsibilities. An out-of-the box problem solver who is engaging, team-oriented, with the ability to develop innovative ideas.

This is a highly visible, agent and client facing position which works primarily between our two offices.

This position will report directly to Brokerage Managers.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead marketing strategy and brand awareness for the New York city offices.
  • Coordinate and lead the budgets of each local office with the Brokerage Managers
  • Assist senior leadership and brokerage managers with local networking and agent recruiting, which includes presentations to agents on the marketing tools available for selling luxury properties and for business building
  • Attend pitch/client meetings with agents and their luxury homeowners sharing the brands offerings and services.
  • Meet with top-tier agents, new agents and employees to share the Sotheby’s International Realty value proposition and assist with individual agent brand promotion and strategy planning for marketing of luxury homes.
  • Act as a liaison between the local and corporate staff, as well as the affiliate network as needed
  • Rollout new and special company marketing campaigns/initiatives including conducting staff and agent training on tools offered to market luxury real estate
  • Partner with corporate and regional marketing to improve existing programs and/or build custom initiatives and solutions for the local market
  • Coordinate public relations opportunities with the brand’s national PR department.
  • Supervise, train, and empower local marketing staff to ensure that they understand and meet their objectives and goals
  • Work closely with Brokerage Managers to strategize marketing promotion of luxury properties
  • Support Marketing staff with trainings, meetings and consultations as needed

Qualifications:

  • Real estate marketing experience preferred, or at least 7 years + experience marketing of luxury goods and services or brands.
  • Outstanding presentation skills and comfortable training others and delivering feedback on these skills.
  • Advanced computer experience, exceptional organizational skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Photoshop, InDesign and real estate databases and/or similar programs
  • Expert communicator both verbal and written.
  • Detail orientated.
  • Able to prioritize and lead in a fast-paced deadline driven environment.
  • Experience multi-tasking, handling independent projects and working well with a team without sacrificing quality.
  • Knowledge of training methods to teach marketing software programs to non-marketers.
