Position Summary:
The Sales Specialist - Histology Instruments role will develop and execute a successful sales strategy for rapid revenue growth and market share expansion in territory. Working collaboratively with sales and service counterparts to achieve Leica Biosystems performance targets and exceeding customer expectations.
Major Responsibilities:
The Sales Specialist will achieve annual product sales goals set for the territory while working in coordination with the local assigned team within their territory The Sales Specialist will maintain accurate and timely opportunity funnel and customer data in SFDC with coaching as needed. The associate will achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through delivery of sales and support assistance and coordinate product demo, installs, and customer training with support from manager and/or mentor Work with prospective and current customers to increase Leica Biosystems' influence and presence across territories Monitor and develop awareness of competitive activities and strategies Utilize Strategic Selling tools (Blue sheets) with mentorship and guidance Develop on products, DBS, LBS Tools (such as DOMO, Showpad, Territory Business Reviews)
Required Education, Experience, Skills Education:
Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science OR equivalent work experience Minimum 3-5 years relevant sales (or equivalent experience) Proven time management skills Proven contract negotiation and high-level selling experience, or selling in a matrixed environment. Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM software Experience with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Desired Education, Experience, Skills Education:
Degree in Life Sciences or masters degree in Business/MBA Diagnostics, Histology and/or Pathology experience preferred Prior capital sales experience Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM

The salary range for this role is 82,000 to 120,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting.
