Serves as a strategic support contact representing Core Retirement Services for plans within the Internal Relationship Management (IRM) team. In a backup capacity, the Associate Responds to plan level inquiries from internal and external Clients/Institutional Partners, manages daily communications with internal and external parties to maintain, improve and develop strong client relationships. Manages and coordinates plan administration/strategy. Supports the Internal Relationship Managers (IRMs) and management in their daily activities including projects and research items What you will do: - Follows up on outstanding issues with internal functional areas as well as with external clients. Typical issues may be related to: plan documents, enrollment meetings, coordination of plan-level contact or plan changes, product changes, fund adds/eliminations, plan amendments, statement narratives, statement reviews and pricing changes/recoveries.
- Ensures issues are being resolved and clients are kept apprised of progress, providing the highest level of customer service and satisfaction. Typically handles standard/routine problems/issues and refers more complex issue to senior staff.
- May participate in conference calls and meetings to resolve questions or issues.
- Assists with the daily activities of the RM staff as needed
- Assists with research and long-term projects.
- Over time and commensurate with experience, team member is expected to demonstrate overall proficiency, self-reliance and resourcefulness.
What you will bring: - Associate’s Degree, preferably in Business, Finance or a related field, or equivalent work experience
REGISTRATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSING REQUIRED - FINRA Fingerprinting required
What will set you apart: - A minimum of one year of experience in the financial services industry
- Knowledge of ERISA, DOL and applicable IRS regulations related to retirement plans
- Knowledge of Empower specific programs and systems a plus
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and problem-solve effectively
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS - This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as but not limited to; computers, phones, photocopiers and filing cabinets. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to concentrate, talk and hear. This role is regularly required to type, reach with hands and arms, sit for long periods of time, read, write, listen, verbally communicate, present information, respond to questions, problem solve, concentrate and tolerate stress. Many duties will be done while sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

The salary range below describes the minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
