About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Execution Consultant to join Cards and Merchant Services (CMS). The CMS Change Delivery team is responsible for enabling the effective delivery of change, which is critical to meeting both our growth and control objectives, while also enabling us to continuously improve the Customer experience. CMS Change Delivery key stakeholders include Senior Executives and Leadership, Business Managers and Subject Matter Experts, Enterprise Change Management, Legal, Risk, Compliance, Controls, among others.

CMS Change Delivery is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic individual for this reporting and analytics role that will work with various teams to wrangle, review, and cleanse data across disparate sources to systemically collect an inventory of change activities for CMS. Other responsibilities include develop data mapping for required data fields, create a path to systemically bring change inventory data elements together in the most efficient and effective manner – both short as well as long term, determine the impacts of regulatory changes to existing policies and procedures, drive process improvements, strengthen controls, and reduce issues and defects resulting from deficient or inaccurate change cross-impact assessments.

This role requires the candidate to establish themselves with key stakeholders as a contact person for report development and analytics. This will require having a broad understanding of the data being analyzed and experience with manipulating large volumes of data and communicating upwards. The position requires a person who can take complex requests, turn it into meaningful requirements, which will then be used in developing new, and improving reports. This role requires excellent customer service and communication skills with the ability to multitask and be able to self-prioritize.

Roles & Responsibilities:

As a Business Execution Reporting Consultant, the ideal candidate will:

  • Systemically collect and manage change initiative and regulatory data from numerous sources, understand it, and present it in a clear and digestible manner.
  • Use data as an enabler to draw a clear correlation between regulatory changes and their corresponding impacts to existing products and services, as well as internal policies, processes, and procedures.  
  • Develop, deploy, and maintain a variety of change reporting for the ‘strategic solution' that is in alignment with ECM, Consumer Lending, and CMS requirements. 
  • Prepare and analyze various reports to drive business execution results, and in support of regulatory matters.
  • Create a comprehensive mapping of all data sources, and dictionary of all applicable data fields.
  • Automate, streamline, and improve existing data collection processes. Develop new data collection processes with an eye on efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Improve the overall control environment by developing new controls, automating existing manual processes, and improving the team's documentation 

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience in financial industry or operations preferred; primarily working with Consumer Lending products, services, and processes.
  • 5 years of experience in risk and/or financial reporting. 
  • Strong technical skills, particularly in MS Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with SQL, SAS, Python/VBA, data visualization (Tableau), and data wrangling (Alteryx) are a plus. 
  • Strong analytical skills with a proven track record of execution.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills needed for working within a team environment as well as communicating across departments.
  • A developed leadership presence capable of effective messaging to colleagues, key stakeholders, and management.
  • Independent critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision making talents.
  • Ability to work on multiple priorities at the same time within tight deadlines, demonstrating excellent organizational skills.
  • Acute attention to detail and control driven mindset.

Required Qualifications, US:

  • 2+ years of Business Operations or Leadership experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience in financial industry or operations preferred; primarily working with Consumer Lending products, services, and processes
  • Self-motivated with a high level of initiative and accountability
