Corporate Properties Audit Lead / Lead Business Execution Consultant

The purpose of the Process and Governance team is to operationalize risk management practices and optimize service delivery throughout Corporate Properties Group (CPG) can deliver world class real estate and workplace services.  The team is accountable to assess and escalate systemic risk, drive sequence of change, and promote continuous improvement in support of CPG strategic goals.

The Process and Governance function within CPG coordinates the management and oversight of key strategic initiatives, governance, reporting, and cross-functional activities.

About this role:

As part of the Corporate Properties Group (CPG) Process and Governance organization, the Business Execution Governance team is accountable for the development and maintenance of key risk indicators and other risk measures, including reporting as well as supporting the adoption of and adherence to all enterprise risk programs across CPG.

Specifically, this position will be responsible for

  • Providing initiative leadership to strategize, plan and execute a variety of efforts, services and initiatives focused on strengthening and making more efficient the governance activities of the CPG services. 
  • Participate in a variety of assigned and ongoing business operations to ensure success in meeting business goals and objectives
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement by conducting root cause testing of all compliance and business metrics
  • Present recommendations to develop, implement, and monitor strategic approaches, effectiveness of support function, and business performance improvement opportunities for managing risks of the business
  • Exercise independent judgment and provide guidance in diverse support functions and operations for a single business group within a line of business
  • Collaborate and consult with leaders and executive management

Immediate support will be provided to efforts such as leading the work to:

  • Act as primary CPG contact for Audit/Testing & Validation activities
  • Establish and maintain an Audit calendar of events and track/monitor/report on Audit engagements, timelines, progress, and any potential issues
  • Participate in the Issue Management Lifecyle as necessary
  • Develop metrics and reporting within the Process & Governance landscape

Required Qualifications, US:

  • 5+ years of Management Consulting, Strategy Consulting, or Business Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and understanding of corporate real estate
  • Prior experience in audit, systems testing, quality, and self assurance
  • Experience in program management
  • Ability to facilitate and lead meetings to reach conclusions, identify tasks, record actions, and achieve results
  • Ability to articulate issues, risks, and proposed solutions to various levels of staff and management
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to turn findings into executable plans to meet business objectives
  • Ability to work independently and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Trend analysis using Microsoft Excel
  • Reporting skills and use of and creation of dashboards for reporting
  • SharePoint or similar systems experience with data storage, gathering, and maintaining
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
