About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Analytics Consultant in Consumer & Small Business Banking providing coverage for Branch Banking, Chief Customer Office, CSBB Control, CSBB Diverse Customer Segments, CSBB Operations, CSBB Strategy & Transformation, Consumer Marketing, Deposit Products Group, and Small Business. In this role, you will:

  • Perform analytics on customer feedback including monthly root cause analysis on topics chosen by leadership.
  • Read customer complaints and determine themes and root causes.
  • Query and join data across multiple databases to help explain the root cause and ultimately improve customer service.
  • Analyze other experience feedback from both customer surveys and employee suggestion using text analytics and customer behavior and transactions or other branch activity metrics to understand the overall branch experience and eventual business outcomes.

Required Qualifications, US:

  • 5+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 2+ years of SQL or SAS experience
  • 2+ years of experience with databases such as Oracle, DB2, SQL server, or Teradata
  • 3+ years of data analysis experience


Desired Qualifications:

  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of research and analysis
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience with text mining or text analytics
  • Experience analyzing large data sets
  • Intermediate Microsoft PowerPoint skills
  • Ability to translate and summarize complex data into understandable, actionable information and recommendations
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision in a structured environment
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
  • Superior project management skills including the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently
  • Experience conducting project meetings, presentations and status reporting
  • Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members

Pay Range

$84,000.00 - $149,400.00 Annual
