Job Description

Software Engineers at Motorola Solutions are involved in the design and development of state of the art microprocessor/computerbased digital communication systems.
Your responsibilities may include some, or all of the following: capturing requirements, developing software solutions through architecture, detailed design and coding, design validation in box and system verification phases. Candidates must apply good communication and interpersonal skills toward solving problems in a team environment.
Software Engineers at Motorola Solutions use state of the art tools on networked workstations. Areas of specialization include cybersecurity applications,  embedded software, mobile device application software, agile methods, information assurance, virtualization, Linux, Windows, Android, and iOS

Desired Qualifications:

Preferred Working knowledge of:

- C/C++

- Java/JavaScript

- Linux (multiple variants)

- Perl / Powershell

- Java

- Mobile application and/or platform development including Android and iOS

- Knowledge or working experience with technologies such as Microsoft Azure cloud service, Docker, Kubernetes, and PostgresSQL database is a plus

- Knowledge or working experience in DevOps using modern CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, Artifactory, GIT, and Azure DevOps or similar tools is a plus
