Valencia College is now hiring resourceful, analytical and dedicated Research Statistical Analyst, Sr join the Central Florida Education Ecosystem Database (CFEED) Team.
In this role, you will be responsible for Representing Valencia College on the Central Florida Education Ecosystem Database (CFEED) research team as one of four research leaders in an innovative partnership that builds a shared database among Orange County Public Schools, School District of Osceola County, Valencia, and University of Central Florida. Performs statistical research and analysis in support of ecosystem innovation and decision-making. Builds inferential, predictive and other models based on the strategic needs of the ecosystem and organization.

The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution in research, data analysis or related field [required].
- Master’s or doctoral degree from a regionally accredited institution in research, data analysis or related field [preferred].
- Three years of experience with statistical/data analysis [required].
- Demonstrated experience in SQL, SAS or equivalent data querying language [required].
- Demonstrated experience with statistical techniques including predictive, inferential and other models in SAS, R, or equivalent software programs
[required]. - Experience explaining results of statistical analysis orally and in writing [required].
- Demonstrated experience with visualization software and equivalent programs [preferred].
- Experience with data marts and/or data warehouse environments and relational databases [preferred].
- Experience using higher education data and conducting projects related to higher education data concerning student outcomes, enrollment management, etc. [preferred].
- A demonstrated commitment to equity and inclusion.
