10/15/10 ALABAMA A&M took all the students living on campus meal tickets from them  if they had a balance for this semester as low as $340.00. The meal ticket is $1390.00 per semester and they have it included in the kids bills that have the balances and not deducting it while the kids can't use it to eat now in mid-semester.

 

These are students away from home and there is no going home to eat after school.

 

If you have children and don't feed them that is Child Abuse. We send food overseas to feed the hungry and now a HBC school is starving their Black students.

 

What happen to holding transcripts until the bill is paid?  

 

How are they to function when they can't eat. This is setting them up for failure. This a CRIME! All the students should file a Class Action especially due to the impact not being able to eat while attempting to get a college education.

 

Even though they are trying to collect their money they still have a lot of Grant money owed to some students as of today that they haven't provided.

 

Someone need to immediately get this straighten out so these kids can eat and  need to get a food pantry to Huntsville ASAP. What is wrong with AAMU??????

 

It is a shame they are a HBC
