WINNIESPOETRY: Reminiscing..."OLD SCHOOL STORIES" PART 7-THE BOY NEXT DOOR

It is unfortunate that the other Old School Stories were lost in the data base of BHUC, but frankly, I do not wish to retype them again. You can visit my web site and read them if you choose. So this is the last of the "Old School Stories" I have. I hope to perhaps release my book of them later on. This story is about a crush I had, the music and a time of puppy love and innocence. WINNIESPOETRY: REVOLVING DOORS

I write a lot of poems with messages to encourage. I encourage especially our Black Males. I know they can become great men, if they can escape from being trapped within Revolving doors. Doors of prisons, and penal institutions. There are others doors that come with change maybe this will give thought for them to take a different look at other life's opportunities without ever entering prison doors. This poem I wrote to a prisoner to encourage him to become a better civilian his to community. His date of release was March 14, 2008 I pray him to have strength!.--MIISRAEL

WINNIESPOETRY: ON MY DADDY'S HAT

This is a Poem I wrote for today's Dads. It portrays A History of Generations of Grandfathers and Fathers from Slavery to Freedom, and Fathers today: Where is Daddy's Hat?: . My daddy was there for me and inspired me to become a poetess. I used to take off his hat and rub his head. He passed away on Christmas Day 1997. I still have his hat.--MIISRAEL
