Ok people . .here's the real! WE DO NOT SUPPORT OUR OWN!! YES, I said WE because I, too, am guilty of this at times. Not because I don't want to, it's because of the service that is received when I do. Some of you may know that I am an independent consultant for Cookie Lee Fine Jewelry, and by the way, the only Black one in MN (to my knowing). I am currently doing a fundraiser for a church event and as you know . . . .WE DO NOT SUPPORT OUR OWN! Why every time we as Blacks are trying to do the entrepeneurship thing. .our brothers and sisters always want a deal? You don't have to ask me for a deal . .if I want to give you one . .GUESS WHAT I'LL LET YOU KNOW THAT I'M GIVING YOU A DEAL!!
We can go and spend hundreds of dollars for something of little to no quality to fatten the pockets of our counterparts who are not even native to this country and the ones that stole the land, but when asked to support our own . .it's like we owe them something for success!! I just don't understand it. I patronage wherever I go because I expect the same thing when I approach you or you approach my business. I'm from the South and we take care of each other! OR at least we USE TO!!
This is a different day and time OBVIOUSLY! Can someone please answer the question ~ WHY DON'T WE SUPPORT OUR OWN??
