DOW BANKS is a true artisan of his craft , one who has taken every advantage of the time and context of his human existence. With ties from red clay Alabama, a sacred southern mystical city that holds ancestral religious hymnals of America's black experience to Minnesota, the city that re- birthed the Black Lives Matter Movement with uprising after the murder of George Flyod during the height of the 2020 Covid 19 Global Health Crisis. Dow Banks, a son of these two cities, is the sum total of unique historical experiences such as the abovementioned that lend to the precision and delicate tone of his artistry.
He lives at the crossroads of music and politics and cites hip hop and sports legends like Jay-Z , Biggie, TI , and Allen Iverson for creating a business acumen and blueprint backed by faith, marriage, family, fatherhood, and activism through hip hop story telling. A formula that he implements in both his personal and professional endeavors.
